The opportunity:

The Application Specialist (1st Line) provides operational, application and quality control support to customers all across the North region of Italy. The role includes supporting customers in this region through user training, troubleshooting, system installations and quality-related activities.

The Application Specialist ensures that Sakura solutions are used correctly and according to procedures. The specialist works independently on non-complex projects, including activities within the North of Italy, in line with Sakura’s way of working. For some projects, a structured and well-considered approach may be required.

Job requirements

We perfectly match if

you have

  • Relevant degree in Laboratory Sciences or equivalent background.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in histopathology is strongly recommended.

  • Strong training and communication skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Hands-on, practical mentality with high customer focus.

  • Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary, cross-country teams.

and you

  • Are fluency in Italian language and proficient in English; additional European languages are a plus.

  • Are willing to travel at least 50% of the time.
