Application Specialist | UK


We have a great challenge waiting on an experienced Application Specialist who will serve our customers in the middle region of the UK, but also support the colleagues AS in the other regions when needed.
You will be providing independent customer support in various operational, application and quality control areas around user training and customer usage of the Sakura equipment.

Job requirements

Key responsibilities:

  • Support customers and Sakura colleagues on operational, quality control and application areas.

  • Stay informed of new developments, improvements and regulations of Sakura Products and being responsible for their implementation.

  • During the installation, you assist and train the users on the Sakura systems.

  • Manage, coordinate and monitor all aspects relating to complaints handling.

  • Ensure Quality

  • Deliver On-time and adequate reporting.

  • Participate in various projects.

  • Meet the personal- and team-goals, formulated in the beginning of the fiscal year.


We perfectly match if:
you have

  • a good presentation & communication skills to meet the training & advising requirements.

  • a relevant degree in Laboratory Education.

  • a minimum of 3 years working experience in the field of histopathology.

  • a practical approach with a can-do & hands-on mentality.

  • secondary Vocational Education or Higher Education with technical specialization.

  • skilled use of computers and office software.

  • a local driver's license.

and you

  • have good command of both written and spoken English. Other foreign languages are an advantage.

  • familiar with medical devices.

  • live within a 60 mile radius of Nottingham.

  • feel at home in an international environment.

  • are self-organised, structured and independent.

  • connect easily & make an impact at all levels.

  • Regional travel is required (min. 80% of the time) for this position.
