To strengthen our position in the market, we are looking for a Manager Business Development who will lead a team of Business Development Managers, identifying growth opportunities, expanding market reach, and driving strategic initiatives.

The Role

As Manager Business Development, you will play a key role in shaping and executing strategies that enhance Sakura’s market presence and profitability. You will be responsible for evaluating partnerships, exploring acquisitions, and driving business development initiatives that align with our long-term objectives. Collaboration with senior leadership, marketing, and sales teams will be crucial in ensuring sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing a team of Business Development Managers, ensuring alignment with company goals and fostering professional growth.

  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals, Key Opinion Leaders, and major laboratories to drive awareness and engagement.

  • Developing and executing strategic market expansion plans, identifying new regions and customer segments while ensuring regulatory compliance.

  • Promoting the Customer Value Proposition (CVP) through targeted outreach and marketing initiatives.

  • Analyzing market intelligence and competitive trends to support informed decision-making and business planning.

  • Monitoring and evaluating the performance of business development initiatives to ensure revenue and market expansion targets are met.

Job requirements

What We Are Looking For

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

  • A strong track record in driving revenue growth and market expansion.

  • Strategic thinking and the ability to develop and implement growth plans.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.

  • A deep understanding of healthcare market dynamics and emerging trends.

  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate insights into strategic actions.

  • Experience working across departments to align business development efforts with broader company objectives.

  • Strong communication skills in English and at least one additional language.
