Your role
As a Customer Service Specialist, you are the first point of contact for our customers. You provide assistance with inquiries, service requests, and orders while ensuring a smooth and professional customer experience. Your responsibilities go beyond answering questions – you will manage administrative processes related to Sales, Logistics, and Service Support, playing a key role in connecting customers with internal teams.
You will work from our office in Alphen aan den Rijn, supporting both customers and colleagues by coordinating improvements, organizing workflows, and managing essential operational tasks.
Job requirements
Your responsibilities
Handle customer inquiries, service requests, and orders via phone, email, and Teams.
Process orders, invoices, price updates, service contracts, and collection management.
Register service calls, manage service jobs, order spare parts, and monitor stock.
Provide administrative support to colleagues.
Communicate with customers about backorders, product changes, and pricing updates.
Identify and implement improvements in customer service operations.
Support internal and external meetings, workshops, and exhibitions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations across departments.
What you bring
MBO+ degree in Marketing, Sales, or a related field, with at least five years of experience in an international environment.
Fluent in Dutch and English; additional languages are an advantage.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office; experience with Oracle Cloud is beneficial.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
A customer-focused, solution-oriented approach with strong relationship-building skills.
A proactive mindset with a hands-on attitude and attention to detail.
