The opportunity:

We are currently looking for an experienced and dedicated people manager with a high degree of initiative, dynamism and professionalism.

The Manager Customer Service is highly focused on Sakura’s customers & do manage the team as well as all customer related administrative processes in the area of Sales, Logistics and Service Support.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the administrative process of the total local workflow “order to cash”.
  • Provide administrative support to the Sr. Director and colleagues.
  • HR administration support.
  • Operational and disciplinary management of the Customer Service team.
  • Local office management.
  • Collect and process relevant information in order to maintain procedures up to date .
  • Ensure good communication between Central Office (based in the Netherlands) and the local organisation. 
  • Ensure mutual back-up within the team.
  • Set-up and approval of the yearly goals of the Customer Service team at the beginning of the fiscal year.
  • Realization of the personal- and team goals, formulated at the beginning of the fiscal year.
  • Organize ((inter)national) meetings, workshops and exhibitions.
  • Reporting (sales figures, pricing, budgets, etc.).

Job requirements

We perfectly match if you

  • a secondary Vocational Education, direction Marketing, Sales or equivalent.
  • at least 4 years relevant experience in an international environment.
  • proven people Management skills.
  • a pro-active and can-do mentality
  • ability to plan and keep track on multiple tasks
  • skilled use of computers and Microsoft office software. Knowledge of Oracle Cloud is an advantage!
  • ability to quickly learn new programs.

and you

  • have good command of both written and spoken English. Other languages are an advantage.
  • are self-organised, structured, pragmatic and emphatic.
  • are reliable & have a good eye for detail.
  • shows a strong customer focus.
  • have a good presentation & communication skills.
  • feel at home in an international environment.
