Job description
The Manager IT plans, coordinates, and directs the organisation’s computer systems (information systems) and related activities; develop, implements, and manages the organisation’s information technology strategy plan; and identifies and recommends the appropriate technologies needed to meet the goals of IT. You are managing a team of internal and external IT professionals. You report directly to the CFO and work closely together with key stakeholders in our organisation.
Job requirements
· Design, develops, implements and oversees information technology (IT), including hardware, software and networks.
· Implements short- and long-term IT solutions that meet the needs of the organization.
· Consults the organisation on all software related application needs and the compliance with Sakura’s IT strategy (ERP/CRM).
· May lead or be part of IT related projects and takes a broad perspective to identify solutions.
· Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve software and systems
· Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software
· Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
· Managing and reporting on annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness for the IT department
· Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
· Manage our IT suppliers and partner network
· Work together with all relevant stakeholders to maintain a customer focused IT department,
· Designing training programs and workshops for staff
· Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
· Realisation of the personal- and team-goals, formulated in the beginning of each fiscal year and/or formulated in long range plans.
· Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems, including maintaining adequate change management, logical access and back-up and recovery procedures
· Ensure that our IT environment is ISO compliant
