The opportunity:

As a Project Manager you will undertake and manage a wide range of projects from initiation to completion reporting directly to the Manager Strategic Projects of Sakura Finetek EMEAI.

You will be responsible for coordinating, implementing, executing, controlling and closing projects & keeping stakeholders informed throughout the process.

Key responsibilities:

• Take a leadership role in projects to ensure completion on time, to specification, and within budget.
• Contribute to the development of a feasible plan (including budget and resources) that achieves the goals and objectives of the project department.
• Independently plan (including multidisciplinary resources), execute, monitor progress, and report on projects.
• Use project management tools such as Smartsheet, Issue Log, and project management templates.
• Present progress reports to stakeholders, as well as issues, solutions, and change requests as needed.
• Track project costs to stay within budget.
• Participate in change management activities related to the project management department and/or ongoing projects.
• Achieve personal objectives and performance targets.

We perfectly match if you

• have a project management qualification or equivalent.
• have theoretical and practical knowledge of various project management methodologies: e.g. Prince II, Agile & Scrum, Change Management.
• are proficient in project management software tools such as Smartsheet or MS Projects.
• have +2 years of experience as a project manager.
• have a lean & Six Sigma Green or Black Belt.
• have proven ability to creatively solve problems.
• have the ability to encourage and motivate people.
• have a can-do mentality.
• are an "owner" and "finisher" of his projects.

and you

• have an excellent command of English, both written & spoken.
• have a higher vocational or master’s degree in Engineering, Technical Business Administration or comparable.
• are self-organised and structured, with the ability to define your own tasks.
• liaise easily with internal stakeholders.
• are a strong communicator.
