The opportunity:
The Project Manager Innovation and Partnerships plays a pivotal role in driving organisational growth by identifying new innovation opportunities, managing product and service projects from concept through completion, and building and maintaining strategic relationships with external partners such as startups and technology providers. This strategic position is essential to advancing the organisation’s development. Key responsibilities include creating and executing an innovation roadmap, overseeing all project activities, coordinating internal and external teams and measuring the success and impact of innovation initiatives.
Job requirements
Project management
Define project scope and deliverables in close collaboration with senior management.
Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and resources.
Monitor milestones and timelines to ensure delivery on time and within budget.
Proactively and creatively resolve challenges, addressing project issues and risks.
Innovation and strategy
Analyze market trends and the company landscape to identify new innovation opportunities.
Facilitate outside-in sessions and lead creative workshops.
Drive the assigned innovation strategy and ensure alignment with broader business goals.
Partnerships and collaboration
Build and maintain strong relationships with both established and newly identified external partners.
Negotiate agreements and collaborate to achieve shared objectives.
Coordinate seamlessly between internal teams and external partners to ensure effective, timely cooperation.
Stakeholder Management and collaboration
Serve as the central communication point for all project stakeholders.
Present new concepts, progress updates, and insights to the President and leadership team.
Ensure stakeholder satisfaction and maintain robust project governance.
Track key metrics, provide visibility, and evaluate the success of initiatives.
We perfectly match if
You have
Minimum of 7+ years’ experience in strategic business development, innovation management, or market development within medical technology or diagnostics.
Strong understanding of European histopathology market dynamics.
Proven success in managing complex projects and partnerships.
Strong business acumen with excellent strategic thinking abilities.
Exceptional project management skills in a cross-functional, international environment.
Ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
Outstanding presentation and negotiation skills.
Visionary mindset paired with a pragmatic approach to execution.
Collaborative and influential leadership style
