The opportunity:

Sakura Finetek Europe BV is seeking a motivated & detail-oriented professional to join our Supply Chain department as a Supply Chain Planner Outbound.

You will be managing the (EMEAI) distributors and Regional Business Units sales orders , monitoring their progress as well as the KPI's, pro-actively communicating the order status to our customers, invoicing, taking care of the stock allocation and generating data driven reports.

Key responsibilities:

  • Management & monitoring of the outbound sales orders.
  • Verification of the commercial terms. You make sure that the client is informed if condition cannot be met.
  • Preparation of all required documentation including legalization at Chamber of Commerce and/or Embassy.
  • Providing instructions to the forwarder.
  • Invoicing of the customer orders and if applicable the transportation costs.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of our outbound logistics IT system.
  • Providing customer focused solutions to any outbound logistic issues such as stock out situations.
  • On time reporting.
  • Achieving the personal and team goals, formulated at the beginning of the fiscal year.
  • Participate in various projects.

Job requirements

We perfectly match if

you have

  •  a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
  • + 3 years work experience in a shipping or logistics department. Experience with documentary letters of credit & other alternative financing structures is a plus.
  • proven ability to creatively solve problems.
  • a can-do mentality.

and you

  • have a good command of English and Dutch, both verbal and written. 
  • are self-organised and structured.
  • have good IT skills (MS Office, Exact, Synergy), Oracle experience is an advantage.
  • connect easily with internal stakeholders.
