Supply Chain Planner Inbound | Alphen aan den Rijn

The position

As a Supply Chain Planner Inbound, you ensure an uninterrupted supply of required goods and communicate, pro-actively, supply problems that may affect the business process.

Together with the other inbound team members, you are in close contact with our offices in Japan and US and our OEM suppliers in Europe. You are responsible for purchase order creation, placement, monitoring, expediting, and all administrative tasks belonging to this process.

You are

  • a strong communicator, a problem solver with a proactive attitude
  • fluent in English – this is our company language and you will have to speak and write it all the time
  • able to relate to many different stakeholders both internal and external
  • analytically strong and continuously looking for improvements
  • able to take care of all required transport documents
  • available for 5 days a week and live in The Netherlands


  • maintain a good working relationship with suppliers and visit key suppliers once per year
  • set up and conduct supplier assessments and audits
  • ensure effective and efficient progress on purchase orders and expedites if necessary
  • manage inbound KPI’s; direct cost budget, stock budget & supplier performance
  • provide reliable master data to be able to draw up an optimal planning

You have

  • a Bachelor Degree, preferably with Logistics / Supply Chain specialization, including NEVI 1
  • at least 3 years working experience on a Supply Chain or Logistics department, preferably in Purchasing & Planning
  • excellent IT skills (MS Office, ERP, etc.), especially in Excel
