Application Specialist | United Kingdom (North)

The position

Sakura Solutions increase efficiency, reduce turnaround times and standardise results in the pathology lab, so pathologists can make fast and accurate diagnoses. Using conventional solutions up to SMART Automation
Providing customer support in operational, application and quality control areas around user training and customer usage. And independently providing application- and user training. That’s what this role is all about!  
Goal: Empowering pathology professionals! How? Coach, train and above all: inspire!
In this role, you’re teaming up with Application & Implementation Specialists, Area Sales Managers and Field Service Engineers in the United Kingdom, Benelux and Scandinavia. Joining an international team reporting directly to the Customer Support Manager | North Region

You are
  • an expert in the world of histopathology responsible for the North of the UK 
  • supporting labs in getting their job done in the best and most efficient way possible
  • training people and advising on operational excellence
  • people orientated and a team player
  • at your best performing in cross functional teams
  • willing and able to travel (mostly nationwide) for 75% of your time

You have
  • been working 5+ years in a laboratory (histopathology)
  • sound understanding of the histology process
  • experience in project- and change management
  • outstanding presentation, influential and persuasive skills
  • the ability to encourage and inspire people
  • a relevant university degree and the ambition to make an impact!

  • live in the upper half of the United Kingdom, close to an international airport
  • feel at home in an international environment
  • easily communicate at strategic, tactical and operational level
  • can express yourself fluently in English, both verbal and written
  • reach out, team up and deliver!
