Senior Engineer Technical Support | The Netherlands

The position

This team of Engineers is responsible for providing 2nd Line Technical Support. This is being provided to 15 entities & branches and over 60 distributors throughout the EMEA & India region.
 
Our vision: We want to be the first company to fully automate anatomic pathology!
 
Important stakeholders are in technical areas such as training, support, repair, service and guarantee. In this team of Engineers your technical mind and client focus will be highly valued.
 
You will report directly to the Senior Team Leader Technical Support.
 
Being you, preferably with a good sense of humor will be truly appreciated!  

You are 

  • providing 2nd line technical support to our RBU’s and distributors abroad
  • dedicated to at least one of our instruments (online or on site)
  • managing, coordinating and monitoring demonstration units
  • handling complaints and queries
  • reporting adequate and on-time (data analytical skills would be welcome)
  • ensuring top quality and providing an excellent service
  • people orientated, flexible and customer focused
  • used to work in an office environment, willing to international travel (approx. 25%)


You receive

  • technical training on Sakura’s products and gain sustainable up-to-date knowledge
  • updates on regulations, develop- and improvements and how to use and implement these
  • a training to learn how to become a trainer for your instrument / solution
  • regularly trained by the Sakura Academy

You have 

  • a solid technical background and education (HBO level)
  • 5-10 years working experience in supporting complex systems
  • troubleshooting skills in the electronical, and mechatronics / robotics area
  • IT skills (IT hardware and MS Office/VBA)
  • a practical approach with a can-do and hands-on mentality
  • strong presentation skills
  • passion for new technology and learning
